Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service - East Dunbartonshire

The East Dunbartonshire Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service is a multi-disciplinary team which aims to support people with problematic alcohol or drug use.

We are open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

We are based in Kirkintilloch but offer planned appointments in Milngavie and Lennoxtown.

You will be offered an individual appointment of about an hour to assess your needs. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to your initial assessment appointment. A recovery support plan will be agreed with you.

- Alcohol/drugs assessment
- Motivational interviewing and relapse prevention
- Mental and/or physical health assessment
- Home alcohol detoxification
- Opioid Substitution Therapy
- Alcohol care and treatment
- Harm reduction services (Naloxone, IEP, BBV testing)
- Assertive outreach services
- Referral to other services
- Psychiatry
- Psychology
- Social Work Assessment
- In patient detox
